David A. Crenshaw

Mr. Crenshaw brings over 20 years experience in the communications industry to his current position with iBEAM Broadcasting where he joined as founding employee number seven. As Assistant Vice President Strategic Accounts and Eastern Region Sales for iBEAM. Mr. Crenshaw is once again focused on the implementation of new technologies and services, this time in the Internet arena. At iBEAM he is focused on delivering advances applications and services to entertainment & enterprise companies Integrating streaming media delivered via a distributed server satellite supported network. Mr. Crenshaw was employee number seven at iBEAM.

Previously at Seachange International and IPC Interactive he served as Vice President, Sales rolling out Interactive video systems Including the first cable/hotel interactive video-on-demand networks.

Earlier with CLI (Compression Labs Inc.) then General Instrument, he served as Director of Sales for Broadcast Products. At CLI he was involved in introducing and selling breakthrough technology in the world's first broadcast video compression system SpectrumSaver. Later at GI he sold the first MPEG2 systems to operate on standard terrestrial links.

Mr. Crenshaw has worked in TV production, broadcast television & satellite services operations. Before joining CLI he worked for eight years in various sales & marketing roles with satellite carriers and service providers. As a National Accounts Manager at Contel/American Satellite he sold USA Today the international satellite network used for distributed printing of the paper. Prior to that, at VideoStar, he pioneered corporate & government use of satellite broadcast videoteleconferencing.

Mr. Crenshaw holds a BA from the University of Louisville and an MS in Telecommunications from Syracuse University. He is a founding member of the Society of Satellite Professionals International.

He is married, has three children and lives in Potomac, Maryland.
