Anna Glogowski
Born in 1950 in Brazil.
Married. One daughter aged 17.
Graduated in Sociology (PARIS X UNIVERSITY - NANTERRE) and Psychology
(PARIS VIII UNIVERSITY).
Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Polish.
Joined Canal+ France in 1984 to work with Catherine Lamour, after having worked as a sociologist in the field of Medical Sociology and Social Psychology in France (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Fondation pour la Recherche Sociale - Paris) and in Portugal, as well as a teacher for nurses and social workers (Assistance Publique).
Co-directed 2 documentaries ; "TERRA DE ABRIL" (1977) with Philippe Costantini, a LA SEPT-ARTE, FR3, INA , RTP , co-production, and "MOZAMBICAN MOTHERS" a Super-8 film shot in the pediatrics section of a Maputo Hospital (1978).
Took part in several documentaries in France and abroad as a sound person.
As Commissionning Editor for Documentaries at Canal+, oversees the production of some major award-winning programmes among which "THE PELICAN OF RAMZAN THE RED" a Boréales co-production - International Emmy Award 1996, "EAST SIDE STORY" by Dana Randa, "LES ANNEES ARUZZA" by Emilio Maillé -FIPA D'OR, "FOTOAMATOR" by Dariusz Jablonski
