Phil Grabsky

Phil GrabskyPhil Grabsky is a documentary film-maker who in the mid-80s established the independent television company, Seventh Art Productions. The company - based in Brighton - is now recognised as one of the leading factual producers in the UK. Over the past ten years he has made award-winning films for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, A&E, Discovery Channel and others. Phil's directing credits include I,Caesar, The Impressionists and two recent 'Timewatch' films The Lost Temple of Java and Brazil - an Inconvenient History. Phil is currently directing a new 'Timewatch' and executive producing a four-part series for Discovery/BBC and a 15-part art series.

Phil has written three books and is currently writing a fourth.

Above all, he is the proud Dad of Ella Jayne, 13 months.
