Nancy Jacobs Miller

Nancy Jacobs Miller is the Founder and President of Film Garden Entertainment. Film Garden was created in 1994 and, in six years, has grown into an award-winning production company having produced over two hundred hours of programming, including prime-time network specials, prime-time reality series, daytime strip series, and many documentary specials for a variety of networks including ABC, Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, FOX, Animal Planet, The Travel Channel, and Romance Classics.

Nancy Jacobs Miller has diverse experience in the entertainment industry in all aspects of production, development, international co-productions, financing and distribution. Prior to founding Film Garden, Ms. Miller worked extensively in development, production, and business affairs in the arena of feature films, animation, television and music. She has served as the Director of Business Affairs for Live Entertainment, as an attorney for Paramount Pictures in the Domestic Television Division, as the Executive Vice-President of an award-winning animation production and distribution company, and as the Line Producer of a live music series hosted by Robbie Robertson.

Ms. Miller has served as the fiction editor of The Southern California Anthology, a literary journal published by the University of Southern California. She has written and published poetry and short fiction, and received USC's prestigious Elizabeth Kempthorne endowment for achievement in creative writing. She also published an article in the San Diego Law Review, which examined the effects of television violence on children.

Ms. Miller graduated cum laude from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in Communications, and received her law degree with highest honors from the University of San Diego where she attended on full scholarship and received four American Jurisprudence awards.
