Lilla Hurst
Lilla began her career working as a production manager for Burrundi Pictures in Australia.
In 1996, she returned to London and worked freelance before managing the programming department of the British Pathe library - utilising the 50,000 hours of archive spanning 100 years, to produce and distribute programmes with an international appeal, including the 13 x 1hr series 'Century' sold to over 75 territories world-wide.
From there she was poached to head up the distribution department of TVF, focusing on the distribution of over 1000 hours of factual programmes on behalf of the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 & Channel 5.
In December of last year, Lilla was tempted away from TVF to RDF International to manage the Indie Producers Fund, a sum of £1.25 million set side to invest in independent producers projects in exchange for distribution rights. RDF are particularly interested in high-end Science and History series as well as successful Format ideas for all genres.
