Charles R. Tudor
Mr. Tudor has produced, directed and photographed from locations underwater to in the air with the scope of his assignments and productions taking him to almost every state and internationally throughout 25 countries on four continents. He has produced network programming from daily children's programming in the early 70's with Larry Harmon Productions (OK... Bozo's Big Top" if you must) to "War on Terrorism" programming for "Good Morning America" and "Primetime."
He was one of the early developers of docudrama productions producing extensive hours of reality based reenactment stories of religious paranormal experiences ala "It's A Miracle" for CBN producing or directing over 200 feature stories. He directed and shot "ExposÉ," (5 X 60), a front-line style investigative series on pornography in America hosted by Pat Boone, Efram Zimbalist Jr., Carol Lawrence and Art Linkletter and various other award winning social commentary documentaries on the supernatural and spiritual realm. He directed and shot "Shroud of Mystery," 1 X 60, an investigative documentary on the Shroud of Turin for the Continental Broadcasting Network precursor of ABC Family Channel.
His bent for action and factual news programming garnered him a post as war corespondent for Middle East Television, Cyprus, stationed in Beirut, Southern Lebanon and Israel. His 6 year tour included coverage of: the civil war in Lebanon, the Israeli conflict in Southern Lebanon, the Palestinian uprising in Israel, the Angolan war between UNITA and government/Cuban forces, the Berlin Wall and the search for Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat, in Turkey with astronaut Charles Erwin. Much of his war material aired on various US networks and received international pool distribution. He is quite familiar with the sound of 7.62's going by inches away, 180's exploding within meters and talking bearded, AK47 waving Moslems from taking him away to some dark and dank room (most of the times).
His recent freelance Producing/Writing/Directing and DP assignments have included numerous feature/news packages or docudrama reenactments for "Good Morning America," "ABC World News," "Nightline," "20/20," "Oprah," "American Journal," ""Today," "Inside Edition," "Treasures In Your Home," "Wild Rescues," "Hard Copy," "Movie Magic," "CNN," "NBC Nightly News," "How'd They Do That?," "Storm Warning," "PBS," "History Channel," and "Medical Detectives" to name a few.
