Huw Walters

Huw Walters is Head of Co-Productions at S4C International, the commercial division of Wales' national broadcaster S4C.

Walters is responsible for managing the channel's slate of co-produced programmes and for developing and maintaining relationships with other broadcasters and co-financiers.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of a public broadcaster S4C International is responsible for building relationships with companies outside Wales and adding value to the broadcaster's budget. As a fast-growing distribution business S4C International is looking to add to its catalogue by investing in new programmes alongside the broadcaster.

Walters joined S4C ten years ago and prior to his present position worked in the channel's business affairs and programme finance departments on some of the channel's high profile animation and documentary co-productions.

Huw Walters was born in Trebanos, Wales and is married to Kay. He has a degree in Law and Industrial Relations from the University of Wales.
