Lisa Oberhofer
Lisa Oberhofer is the Director of Operations for Library Sales for BBC Worldwide Americas (BBCWA), a division of BBC Worldwide, the commercial consumer arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). She joined the BBC in 1985 and has worked across several divisions of the organization during her career.
Lisa moved into her current role in 2002, when BBC Library Sales became the exclusive global sales agent for the CBS News Archive. Lisa is responsible for library sales operations at CBS.
Upon joining the BBC in 1985, Lisa worked as an executive assistant in International co-productions out of London. Five years later, she moved to New York to serve as administrative manager of co-productions.
In 1995, Lisa began working for BBC Library Sales, moving to Los Angeles as Research Manager. During this period she served as Director of Research for The Discovery Channel's special Best of the BBC, produced in association with the BBC. Adding to her accomplishments, Lisa also co-founded an association called CLEAR, an association of research and clearance professionals working in the film and television industry.
Lisa currently resides in Manhattan with her husband.
