Janet Russo

Janet Russo is executive producer of Bellevue Entertainment LLC, a production company that develops and produces entertainment specials and factual programming. The company is currently focusing its efforts on producing High Definition programming to offer broadcasters and distributors the best possible production quality in the market today. HDTV programs currently in production include: Best of the Big Easy, Secrets of the Southwest, Secrets of Glacier National Park and Secrets of Hawaii's National Parks for the Travel Channel and Discovery HD Theater; and Showtime in Las Vegas for Bravo.

Other production credits include: Swing It! for American Public Television featuring Rosemary Clooney, Lionel Hampton, and Dee Dee Bridgewater; the Pay-Per-View performance special Lilith Fair; Behind the Music: Lilith Fair for VH-1; Sarah McLachlan and Friends for the Canadian Broadcast Corporation; and In the Company of Angels for the Odyssey Channel. Programs produced by Russo have received awards from the New York International Film Festival, the New York Festivals, Chicago International Film Festival, The Houston International Film Festival and the Columbus International Film Festival.

Prior to forming Bellevue Entertainment, Russo was Vice President/Executive Producer of Edelman Worldwide where she supervised production of national news segments, product promotions and corporate communications for the company's Fortune 500 client base. She is a graduate of Indiana University and serves on the Associates Council of the Newberry Library.
