Charles H. Schuerhoff
Charles Schuerhoff has thirty years experience in the field of international television program distribution plus six years of production background. He started and for seven years ran the distribution office of WGBH/Boston, where he was responsible for both co-productions and sales of the NOVA series among others.
In 1980, he founded CS Associates, a distribution company specialized in documentaries. CS Associates licenses completed programs to broadcasters in the U.S. and abroad, and secures pre-sale or co-production funds from these same sources. The company catalogue has grown to include a wide variety of titles from North America, Australia and Europe that range across all subjects, styles and lengths from non-narrated short films to long series such as Ken Burns' THE CIVIL WAR, BASEBALL and JAZZ, and Alex Gibney's THE FIFTIES, as well as many single programs such as "The Trials of Henry Kissinger" and "Sound and Fury."
