How many hours or slots do you program per year?
Weekly one-hour slot "History, Mystery, Travel and Treasure" eg. Healing Secrets of the Blue Buddha, Mystic Women of the Middle Ages; doc series specials eg. Secret Files of the Inquisition(4 X 60) some longer doc series eg. The Naked Archaeologist (26 X 30) - annual total approx. 120 hours

What percentage or number of hours are commissioned vs. acquired? (Ie. 60% commissions/ 40% acquisitions)
90% commissioned, 10% acquired Note: commissions must qualify as Canadian content through Canadian/international co-production

What is the average amount for acquisitions and/or license fee?
Varies per project. Internationally competitive.

What are you looking for right now?
One-offs to fit the format of a new "beyond belief" strand on subjects such as speaking to the dead, exorcism, miracles, apparitons etc.

How do you prefer to be pitched?
Initially by a brief email or call to check my inerest in the subject then proceeding in stages to a complete proposal.

What is your biggest pitch turnoff?
Producers who tell me that something is perfect for Vision when it clearly does not fit out priorities.

What is your market circuit?
RealScreen, Hot Docs, Sunnyside, Banff every other year
