Deana Jordan Sullivan is director of program development for Discovery Networks International (DNI). Based at Discovery Communication's corporate headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, Jordan Sullivan works closely with Discovery programming and production teams across the globe to create programming that resonates with diverse audiences worldwide while maintaining the integrity and credibility that is associated with the Discovery Channel and its family of quality brands. Managing all project stages from concept to execution, she works in tandem with DNI regional offices in London, Singapore, Miami and New Delhi and collaborates on all original production ideas. Jordan Sullivan also acts as a liaison with the international production community to help position DNI as the world's leader in global real-world entertainment. Jordan Sullivan served as executive producer on the following Discovery productions: Manhunt, Blueprint for Disaster, Blasters and Muslims in America.
Jordan Sullivan has more than 15 years of experience in non-fiction and documentary production for both commercial and public television. Prior to her current position, Jordan Sullivan served as a production supervisor for Discovery Communications, where she established and ran the production management office for Discovery's international networks. She also worked as a production manager on such projects as Raising the Mammoth and Treasures of the Royal Captain.
Before joining Discovery, Jordan Sullivan was director of production at BBC Worldwide in New York. Her credits range from Reading Rainbow, Hotel Terminus and the BBC PBS series, Eyewitness.
Jordan Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and speaks French and Spanish.
