Andrew Burnstein is Company Director and Executive Producer of Toronto-based Exploration Production Inc. (EPI), Canada's leading producer of factual content for television - producing more than 300 hours of programming in 2004.

Andrew is responsible for mapping out the business and strategic direction of the production company as well as overseeing the creation and financing of new and exciting programming for broadcast and distribution in Canada and worldwide.

Andrew joined EPI more than three years ago as Executive Producer and has been responsible for numerous award-winning programs and series as well as major international co-productions. As well, he has also overseen the development of EPI as a major producer of HDTV content.

Andrew's diverse career in broadcast media and television production began in journalism in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. Prior to joining Discovery Channel Canada he produced programs for CBC, Canwest Global, and The Sports Network. A Career highlight includes participation as producer, director and writer for episodes of CBC's most ambitious documentary project, Canada: A People's History (2001). More recently, as Director of EPI, Andrew has been intricately involved in financing and production of at least a dozen International Treaty Co-Productions with producers and broadcasters in the UK, France, South Africa, Australia, and Germany.

Exploration Production Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Channel Canada, which is owned in partnership by CTV Inc. (Canada) and Discovery Communications Inc.
