Stephan Shelanski is senior vice president of program acquisitions, planning and scheduling for Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG). Shelanski licenses programming for all of SEG's channels and oversees all of the original programming for the company.

Shelanski manages all of SEG programming activities, including acquisitions, original programming, on-air production and promotion, and planning and scheduling. Recent originals include: The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing, Sam Peckinpah's West: Legacy of a Hollywood Renegade, Last of the Mississippi Jukes, A Huey P. Newton Story.

Prior to joining Starz Entertainment Group in 1994, Shelanski was with Home Box Office (HBO) working as director of Cinemax scheduling.

Shelanski is a graduate of Harvard with a BA in Mathematics and holds a Masters in Cinema Studies from New York University. Raised in Philadelphia, Shelanski resides in Denver with his wife Kerry, two daughters Lilliana and Julia, and son Daniel.
