Marc Krigsman

Getting to the Future First: Rethinking Distribution

Marc Krigsman has been a key player in the multimedia industry for over two decades. With a reputation for strategic thinking, branding, and new economy leadership, he has successfully charted the course for many groundbreaking media ventures guiding networks and media companies through uncharted territory. Currently, Krigsman works at The Networks Group, a division of Turner Media Group, where he is responsible for managing and creating a suite of next generation cable/satellite networks.

Prior to TNG, Krigsman was EVP and co-founder of Primedia Digital Video. Krigsman's mission, translate Primedia's targeted publications into new media, video, broadband and wireless franchises. During his tenure at Primedia, Krigsman created a robust television business, Executive Producing over 400 episodes of programming to 12 different networks in 2002 alone. In addition he created VOD programming around Primedia's properties for MAGRack and Comcast's VOD. The programs often ranked in the most watched non-theatrical programs.

Prior to Primedia, Krigsman held positions at FOX Cable Networks. There he launched The Health Network the nation's first cable service targeting healthy living and lifestyles. He spearhead the development of content and programming for both the cable and Internet platforms, while also managing day to day operations of the service.

Krigsman joined News Corporation as the VP Business and Programming Development managing FOX's interest in several of their cable programming services and participating on the growth of new services such as Fox Sports Net.

Prior to joining FOX, Krigsman held the lead development position with ESPN/espn2. There, he worked on launching new services, and creating specialty programs, including ESPN's first development of non-event specials and mini-series. Krigsman was also responsible for initiating SportsCentury, ESPN's most extensive commitment to a project, outside of event programming.

Earlier, Krigsman was Director of Programming and Acquisitions/Executive Producer at ABC Video, a producer at Titan Television and a Production Associate in the news and sports divisions at NBC. He started his career at Cablevision Systems, on the production team that created the award-winning Extra Help, one of the earliest forms of interactive cable television.

A graduate from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, Krigsman currently resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife Lisa and their children James and Emily.
